Part 1, book cipher solved

• A tip by @FelicityVelius gives reference to a literature source:

  Mah kitteh Virgil is such a glutton #cantoVI

  Virgil appears in Canto VI of "Dante's Inferno", of which there are 34 cantos.

  Applying the book cipher as canto-line-word produces:
  "Be attentive lest you become enslaved The kings of the world rise against you"

  The phrase is unique and doesn't lead to other source material for further aid
